Blind Political Opportunism Unleashed
Published on September 25, 2004 By hitparade In Democrat
Dean and Kerry are in tactic collusion with terrorist. Direct correlations exist between the increase in attacks in Iraq and Howard Dean and John Kerry's incessant Bush bashing. The terrorist could not defeat America militarily and had, in essence, thrown in the white towel. But then the terrorist spotted opportunity. They observed Dean passionately rally the left to relive the good ole days of protesting against the war Vietnam. The more Dean and Kerry bash Bush, the more the insurgency grows. More Americans die. Political opportunism at its ugliest low.

I mean, come on, how can you be this blind?

"We are losing the war"
"The war is unjust"
"People are dying for nothing"
"Your leaders are inept"
"your victories are fabricated and your failures are covered up"

Blah, blah, blah. Can you not see that this is *identical* to enemy propaganda? Can you not see that this goes WAY beyond dissent and becomes an overt act of undermining? At what point do YOU see the act becoming destructive? Terrorists are already using our own "dissent" in their statements as they behead people.

What do you call people that demoralize and splinter a nation during a time of war for personal gain? I call them traitors. I am gravely ashamed of some people in my country, and I have little hope in a future that lauds them as "patriots".

To those of you who are trying to claim that Iraq has no terrorist connections or had none before this recent war. I am here to educate you.
Or rather - point you to where you can educate yourselves.

The Council on Foreign Relations addresses this question in depth at http://www.terrorismanswers.org/sponsors/iraq.html Link

Looks like a comprehensive guide to Iraq with specific Al-Quaeda connections followed by about 60 links to news reports on the subject here: Link

Here is just one of them from CNN - I excerpt this because I realize how many biased people think that CNN is holy or something: Link

National Review has a number of articles - here is one: Link

Then there is this Al-Zarqawi guy. An Al Quaeda opperative known to have been finding refuge in Iraq since before this war - here is an NBC article: Link

The Department of defense has some recent terror info as well as archived stuff at: Link

Hussein harboring and sheltering terrorists including Al Quaeda members (no collaboration on 9/11 but giving them sanctuary) from the News Telegraph: Link

This is a new one on me called the Debkafile - they claim to have clear links - here: Link

An article by ultra-liberal ex-NYC Mayor Ed Koch supporting the war in Iraq as part of the global war on terror: Link

Some pics and footage links plus articles of Hussein giving US$25,000 to families of suicide bombers. Hussein was very proud of his contributions and made them very public: Link

A report on Powell first announcing to America that Al-Zarqawi, a known Al-Queda collaborator, was beiung harbored by Hussein and was supposedly still there - we all know what he has been doing lately... Link

A rightist but very well done article (including Quoran citations) on Iraq harboring world wide terrorists: Link

And finally a compillation of links and articles aboutthe Iraq / Terror connection: Link

Or just use common sense - these guys running around shouting that Allah is great and slowly chopping of heads of westerners with dull blades are what? Recent converts to fanaticism and radical ideologies or terror? Please.

Furthermore, if Iraq has become a magnet for the worlds terrorists, then that means that the War on Terror is working out for us.

If they are gravitating to Iraq - where our military is - then is that not exactly what we want?
They sure aren't in the US - well, we have captured some here but the main movemenet is to Iraq, where our military can deal with them rather than our civilians. Let all the terrorists migrate to Iraq. We couldn't have had better results if we asked them nicely

Bringing the war to them. That is the point.

I wonder why people what to get their throuts cut?

This war we are in is not just an other one that we can just retreat and they will go away.

These people we are fighting just don't want us out of the Middle East. They want us DEAD or having us preying to Mecca three time a day. Nothing short of the total distruction of our way of life.

People can live in their dream world all they want. Unfortunately some like Kerry is using this dream land to grab political power. He has done it before. Ask the people from South Veitnam how much they like Kerry and his type. Meany of those people were either placed in exile, put in re-education camps, had family members killed just because they were suspected of dealing with the Americans or poeple having everything taken that they ever owned and forced onto a collective farms,. There was a reason we were in Veitnam, and sorry to burst your bubble but the majority of the Veitmanies people sere not communist. That's why the communist did not wait for free elections after a stable country was made, but had to force their views on others with a gun. (This remind me of whats happening now)

If Kerry had his way in Central America, it would be full of Cuba like countries now. With Dictatorships killing people just the same as the Muslims in Africa are doing on a daily bases, but under a diffrent idealogy.

If Kerry and his like gets his wishs and turn this into another Veitnam Defeitism of just backing away to hide their heads. The world in 40 years may not look very pleasing.

Give the Iraqies a chance. Every time we here about another Iraqie recruiting station getting bombed. All Kerry keeps saying is the terrorist are winning because the attacks are continueing. They keep continueing because Kerry keeps saying that we are losing. I say the terrorist are not winning because those recruiting offices are still full of people willing to go to them in order to be trained to kill terrorist. It will take time for the Iraqies to take thier country back. Give them a chance Kerry. Every time he says the Iraqie MP is lieing he hurts the Iraqies and if Kerry does get elected what credablity will the MP have left. The MP may as well cut his own throut.

I know what I siad was not PC, but WAKE UP this is not a war we can retreat from. Because there is an old Islamic saying that where ever the enemy retreats follow, because that is were you will destroy him.

Sadly That's My Two Cents

Baker......

I am sooooooooooo dissappointed in you right now. You just earned a troll buddy! The mere suggestion that Kerry is a traitor is just wrong! If the current administration even had a plan, then MAYBE he would have stood by his decision to back bush 2.0. How many more soldiers have to die while he sits there with his thumb up his a** and comes up with a plan to deal with Iraq?

He IS a traitor! And it has nothing to do with Iraq!

"I am sooooooooooo dissappointed in you right now. You just earned a troll buddy!"

I have a question: If someone rates an article as trolling, does that reduce a bloggers point value? Or, does it increase it, just because it's verification that it was read? Or, does it increase the point value, because the original poster is stirring the "pot"?

On another note, this post is as deserving of multiple troll ratings, as it is nothing but hate-filled hyperbole. Not to mention that it's totally false, political spin. HitParade, you should be ashamed of yourself.
